Company history
The company started its field in pioneering the production of medical and industrial gases in 1999 under the name”Al-Hurriya Corporation for Medical and Industrial Gases”. On September16.2006. Allibya Industrial and Medical Gas Company was established as a joint venture between the foreign partner. Kuwaiti national company “Cooling and Oxygen Limited” and The company’s Headquarters was located in Tripoli, Libya. in accordance with Law No. 5 of 1997. which encourages foreign capital investment Since its establishment, Allilbya Industrial and Medical Gas Company has taken upon itself to meet the local demand for industrial and medical gases. It has expanded its operations and has become one of the leading companies in the gas industry in Libya. In 2014, the company inaugurated a gas plant in Wadi Al-Rabie, and it has also opened filling stations in most Libyan cities.
On December 15, 2021, Allibya Industrial and Medical Gas Company Acquired “Kuwait Cooling and Oxygen Limited”, making it a 100% Libyan-owned Company. The company now produces a wide range of industrial and medical gases, including Oxygen, nitrogen, argon, and carbon dioxide. Additionally, it provides complementary services such as tank installation, associated networks, and after-sales services including maintenance and spare parts Supply. The company operates in various locations including Wadi Al-Rabie, Tripoli, Juddaim, Al-Zawya, Misrata, Ojla and Benghazi.
